The Blackwater Fever Tour Starts Next Week
After the successful release of their third album ‘The Depths”, The Blackwater Fever are pleased to be hitting the road again to celebrate their second single “Won’t Cry Over You”.
Music icon and outspoken rockstar Noel Gallagher has announced a run of headline shows in Australia just in time for Easter with his band High Flying Birds.
The principal songwriter, lead guitarist, and vocalist for legendary UK rock outfit Oasis will perform in selected capital cities between his headlining performance at Byron Bay’s Bluesfest.
In addition to tracks lifted from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' 2011 self-titled album and the recently released “Chasing Yesterday”, recent live sets have included Oasis classics such as Champagne Supernova, The Masterplan, Whatever, and Don't Look Back In Anger.
In October Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds were honoured with the reader voted Q Award for Best Album of 2015, adding to Gallagher's long list of accolades, which include the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Song Collection in 2013, the NME Godlike Genius Award in 2012, and the Q Icon Award.
With Oasis, Gallagher helped shape Britpop and define a generation, now having sold more than 70 million albums and counting.
From the early 1990's the band recorded countless songs across their eight albums, earning a place in the Guinness Book Of Records for scoring 22 consecutive Top Ten singles before splitting in 2009.
December 2015 marks the 20th anniversary of Oasis' era-defining “(What's The Story) Morning Glory? LP”, one of Britain's highest selling albums with over 22 million copies sold to date.
