Passenger (aka Mike Rosenberg) will be returning to Australia in February and March of 2016, performing at some of the most iconic venues on offer such as the Palais, The Enmore and Riverstage.
The visceral and heart breaking performer returns after enrapturing audiences for more than five years as he has made a name for himself across the globe. Even from the early days, Passenger has been known for not only spellbinding live performances, but also the way he has captured his sound in a studio environment. The double platinum album ‘All The Little Lights’, featuring hit single Let Her Go, paved the way for Passenger to reach new heights. The follow up record didn’t disappoint, with the highly anticipated ‘Whispers’ receiving a shower of accolades.
In early 2015 Passenger released ‘Whispers II’ via his own label Black Crow Records. All profits raised from the album went directly to UNICEF and their groundbreaking initiative in Liberia supporting children with malnutrition.
Passenger is about to set off on tour in Australia with none other than British superstar Ed Sheeran, playing stadiums across the country. Playing alongside each other is not an unfamiliar concept for the two Englishman, with the pair having met ten years ago and collaborating with mutual creative respect ever since.
This is set to be a huge tour, with Passenger an artist who will take you on a cinematic journey and entertain with an emotive, delicate subtlety.
