One of New Zealand’s musical greats Don McGlashan has announced the Australian release of his new album “Lucky Stars” along with a limited run of shows.
A founding member of iconic Kiwi bands Blam Blam Blam, The Front Lawn, and The Mutton Birds, McGlashan is a one of New Zealand’s true music legends.
McGlashan’s third solo album “Lucky Stars” will be released in Australia on October 30, a week before he travels across the Tasman for shows in Sydney, Canberra, Katoomba, and Melbourne.
The album earned a top five spot in New Zealand’s charts when it was released back in April, becoming his most successful release since his hits with The Mutton Birds.
McGlashan started writing the raw material for the album at a small beach house near Auckland before then recording them in Neil Finn's studio with guitarist Tom Rodwell.
