Little May Announce A Not So Little Tour
In celebration of their upcoming self titled debut Ep, Little May have announced a string of shows running around the country this November.
Sydney trio Little May have slowly been taking their beautiful sound all over the world, only returning from a European tour this May/June and now planning a 25-date US, UK, and European tour in the next few months. Oh, and they also have a new single out from their upcoming debut LP, just in case they weren’t already doing enough!
The single Seven Hours is a taste of what’s to come from the album ‘For The Company’, their debut offering out October 9. It’s an atmospheric and whimsical track with swelling instrumentals and some beautiful harmonisation from the trio. It’s easy to get swept up in, and just as quickly as it builds to a crescendo, it’s over, leaving you wanting more.
Written in Jindabyne, Little May explain that the haunting mood of the song perfectly reflects the location in which it was written. “We were at an isolated property with no phone reception or outside distractions - the view we had was of a dark, ominous lake surrounded by fantastic mountains. Being around the majesty of the Snowy Mountains and the surrounding countryside was surreal and helped to unlock what is now Seven Hours.”
To celebrate the release, Little May are doing four Australian tour dates this September before kicking off their big overseas tour. They will be visiting Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth, and by the looks of things we predict they won’t be back for quite a while. Catch them now before they go world-wide!
