Mojo Juju kicked off 2015 in style releasing two single and an album in the first four months, the premiere of German film ‘Bestefreunde’ which featured a soundtrack of her back catalogue, and just when you think she might be slowing down, think again! She’s just announced a national tour!
Planning a string of stripped back and intimate shows, with the occasion band appearance at festivals, Mojo is keen to get up close and personal with her audience.
These shows will be focused around the songwriting and the storytelling of the songs, and will be performing material from ALL of her previous releases, which includes songs from The Snake Oil Merchants for the old school fans. Mojo will be joined by her long time collaborate, sometimes co-writer and real life sibling, Steven ‘T-Bone’ Ruiz de Luzuriaga, on drums and percussion. The two will perform songs from her new album, some of which are yet to be recorded.
The siblings have previously headlined tours as a duo in Australia & Europe, supported artists such as Swamp Blues legend Tony Joe White (USA) and RnB singer Nick Waterhouse (USA), and featured at an impressive list of Australian Music Festivals.
