The Amity Affliction and A Day to Remember are joining forces this December to bring The BIG ASS TOUR to arenas in Sydney, Perth, Adelaide Melbourne and Brisbane. The two heavyweights will be supported by Motionless in White and The Ghost Inside.
You’ve probably heard of The Amity Affliction, two consecutive number 1 albums, gold albums the latest to add to the list being 'Let The Ocean Take Me', a string of sold out tours already accomplished, ringing any bells? They’ve become one of Australia’s biggest and best-loved heavy bands and will perform to more fans than ever before on this tour.
Bassist and vocalist Ahren Stringer said ‘We’re psyched to do this tour with our new friends A Day To Remember! This is the biggest tour we’ve ever done, and it’s going to be something special’
A Day to Remember are an international success story, the band forged their own path from small town Florida to magazine covers and festival main stages around the globe, including a stint as headliners for Soundwave 2014. Having sold over 2 million albums worldwide, their newest album reached #1 on the Billboard Hard Rock charts, cementing them as one of the most critically acclaimed bands in rock. They will be bringing fans songs from their hit album 'Common Courtesy' this December.
Rounding off the tour line up is The Ghost Inside and Motionless in White, two of the hottest bands in the scene. The Ghost Inside hail from Los Angeles’, have graced the cover of Blunt and Hysteria Magazines, and have made Australia their second home with constant presence on the national touring circuit after the release of ‘Dear Youth’ they are ready to return on the Big Ass Tour. Motionless in White will be making their first club show appearances in Australia after two performances on Soundwave, and will be bringing their new album, which debuted at #13 Aria Charting and #9 Billboard 200, Reincarnate to fans for the first time.
Tickets for all show go on sale at 10am on Tuesday September 1st.
