Aldous Harding Hitting The East Coast

New Zealand born singer Aldous Harding has just announced her first Australian headlining East Coast tour this August and September.

Fresh from touring through the UK and Europe, which included shows from Scandinavia to Spain, Harding will be hitting the road next month as a final hurray for her self-titled debut album, released nearly a year ago.

Following the Australian release of the album, Harding was invited to play the Sydney & Perth Festivals and Golden Plains. She also toured with Tiny Ruins, Perfume Genius and Laura Jean. Southern Records then found out about its exploits and released the album locally in Europe. Her single ‘Stop Your Tears’ has been a runaway success here and overseas, and a new video for the song is currently in the process of being made.

Before settling down to write and record her new record, Harding is heading home to New Zealand for a run of shows, before finishing off the tour in Australia. There has also been talk of a BigSound performance here in Brisbane.

Wednesday 12th August – The Gasometer, Melbourne. Plus Palm Spring

Thursday 13th August – The Vanguard, Sydney. Plus Obscura Hail, Jep & Dep

Friday 14th August – Finbox (Upstairs), Thirroul. Plus Jon Dory, special guests
