Nova Heart Are Hitting Our Shores Again In June/July

Beijing’s indie psych-rock outfit Nova Heart will return to Australia for a run of dates through June & July, teaming up alongside Triple J Unearthed winners The Cairos.

Since their last visit here in summer, supporting Canada’s Half Moon Run, Nova Heart has been heard wafting over the Triple J airwaves on high rotation, thanks to their stunning single ‘My Song 9’. 

Featuring the ethereal vocals of dynamic front- woman Helen Feng (dubbed the “Blondie of China”), and backed by guitarist and loops man Roman “Electronic-Cowboy” Rodion and powerhouse drummer Atom, the dark electronic track (taken from the 5 track EP ‘Beautiful Boys’) is just a taste of what to expect from their forthcoming debut album (due for release later this year). 

Nova Heart are very proud to be supporting Brisbane pop rockers The Cairos on the tour. Following the release of their new album ‘Dream Of Reason’ (produced/mixed by Nick Didia) and a tour through Asia in May, The Cairos will no doubt be in fine form when they take to the road nationally with Nova Heart. Their EP 'Beautiful Boys' is out now!
