FEELINGS release video for Intercourse and play Melbourne and Adelaide next week

With a debut album set for release in mid 2013, former Sydneysider Feelings will launch his new single ‘Intercourse’ in Melbourne and Adelaide next week.

Catch Feelings launch 'Intercourse' at The Workers Club in Melbourne on Friday 15 February, with special guests Milk Teddy and Dumb Blondes; and at Plus One @ Ed Castle in Adelaide on Saturday 16 February.

Co-written with Michael Tomlinson (Yves Klein Blue), ‘Intercourse’ is a sex-pop number guaranteed to turn strangers into friends.  The child-like and playful video for ‘Intercourse’ was premiered earlier today on triple j’s Home & Hosed blog. Check it out HERE

Feelings is the new project of former Philadelphia Grand Jury front-man Simon Berkfinger, and features the dashing Dave Rennick from Dappled Cities and Art vs. Science's human metronome, Dan Williams.

"After the last band broke up, I was staying on my friends living room floor and only writing grunge tunes," says Berkfinger. "I deleted most of them. Now it's more freaky. Freaky grunge if anything. But I'd rather talk about Brian Eno than Kurt Cobain."

Berkfinger has also spent the past ten years making a name for himself as a producer. Last year he left Australia and started Golden Retriever, a new studio in Germany. Golden Retriever has already opened its doors to Germans, Britons, Americans, New Zealanders and Israelis, as well as Australian acts like Step Panther, Velociraptor and DZ Deathrays.

‘Intercourse’ is digitally available now via iTunes.
