After two years of being silent, Matt Corby releases a new song ‘Monday’ and it’s as good as his two previous hits! Just saying, but his single ‘Brother’ went 6-time platinum and was ARIA song of the year, and ‘Resolution’ – 4-time platinum plus ARIA song of the year. This guy simply doesn’t know the definition of ‘bad’, as everything turns out pretty awesome for him.
It’s not long before Matt Corby drops his album in early 2016, so he generously shared with us the sneaky ‘Monday’ with us.
The song starts with harmonious unison ghosty sounds, in which Matt’s voice powerfully breaks into later. It begins as a slow crawling ocean wave and disappears in nowhere, leaving you with relief. With the overall deep sound, repetitive beats and wonderful vibrations of Matt’s vocals, you receive clear feeling of joy and relaxation.
Corby also announced national tour dates, which will commence this November. You may expect a bunch of something old and something new! Last time Matt Corby toured 2 years ago, so it’s definitely going to be something special. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, October 2 at mattcorby.com
