Laneway Festival Announces 2014 Lineup!
Laneway Festival 2014 Mega Lineup has dropped.
Sydney’s hottest new guitar-pop heroes DMA’s have released their latest single, and the next addition to your summer road trip playlist, Lay Down.
The single is the first taste of the trio’s highly anticipated debut album, however details such as the LP’s name and release date won’t be announced until later in the year.
Lay Down was recorded and produced by guitarist Johnny Took and Dylan Adams in a cramped studio in Coogee over the summer of 2014/15 and mixed by Spike Stent, known for his work with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Massive Attack.
Opening with driving drums, a super catchy guitar riff, and a fun anthematic chorus, Lay Down has all the elements of DMA’s the world has come to love.
Since releasing their debut single Delete in early 2014 the three friends from Newtown in Sydney’s inner west have been met with plenty of praise and opportunity in both Australia and around the world.
So far this year DMA’s have played at Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Reading & Leeds, supported The Drums and TV On the Radio, and packed out their own headline shows across Europe and North America.
Catch DMA’s along with heaps of amazing Australian and international acts this coming February at St Jerome’s Laneway Festival.
