Adelaide indie-electro duo Auguste have released their powerful debut single called Slow Motion.
Auguste are a pair of step-sister’s by the name of Skye Lockwood and Beth Keough, who met as teens five years ago and have been collaborating on musical projects ever since.
At the forefront of the single are the brooding and evocative female vocals, which are lifted through the haunting orchestral swell that keeps the track afloat.
Behind the track is the ingenious production style of one of Australia’s most prolific alt-pop singer/songwriter/producer, Andy Bull. Skye and Beth’s soft, strong and carefully considered vocals dance around each other delightfully to tell a story of lust and desire.
Slow Motion is a song about infatuation, and the feeling of complete disarmament when someone consumes every inch of your attention.
These two are a pair of very talented up and comers, and definitely a name to look out for in the not-too-distant future.
