Little May Announce Release Date For Debut Album 'For The Company'

Sydney based trio Little May have announced their highly anticipated debut album ‘For The Company’ will be released on 9 October.

The album was produced by The National’s Aaron Dessner and will be released via Dew Process and Universal Music Australia.

This announcement gets better, with the indie-folk band to support the album with a 25 date international tour.

In conjunction with the album release, Little May have launched a unique online art campaign that will culminate with a physical exhibition. Called ‘#ArtForTheCompany’ the campaign celebrates the upcoming album with 11 of the band’s favourite local artists creating an artwork of any medium inspired by a selected track from their album. Visual art has been an integral part of Little May since the beginning, which they continue to celebrate with this art campaign in conjunction with the launch of their debut album.

The album launch announcement comes off the back of the unveiling of their Tim Sessler directed music video for the albums first single, the fragile dark and intense Home.

Little May have long been fans of Dessner and The National, and the opportunity to work with them was very exciting when they recorded the album in Hudson, in upstate New York at the Future Past Studios, a converted nineteenth century church.

This is sure to be a great release from Little May and a band to keep an eye out for in the future.
