Fat Freddy’s ‘Drop’ A New Track

New Zealand’s dub/reggae seven-piece Fat Freddy’s Drop have just released Razor, an 8 minute techno-infused banger from their forthcoming album ‘Bays’.

The album follows up their 2013 hit ‘Blackbird’, which sold over 200,000 copies worldwide and had them playing some of their biggest venues to date, at the 10,000 capacity Alexandra Palace, London and the Sydney Opera House.

The new track heads into a more techno/synth direction than their previous work, but still retains that slow-building reggae vibe they are famous for. Freddy's beatmaster DJ Fitchie said, "There's no fucking around on this one. Blaze is on fire...he's on a synthesiser treadmill, struggling to stay in control at times but in the end provides the perfect backdrop for Dukie's angst-ridden words".

To celebrate the album’s release on Friday, October 23, Fat Freddy have announced one of their biggest ever Aussie headlining tours in February 2016. The full tour details are below.
