Moses Gunn Collective get stuck in a ‘Hole in the Wall’

Brisbane psychedelic rockers Moses Gunn Collective have just released their third single from their debut ‘Mercy Mountain’, and it’s a hazy, repetitive love-fest.

Hole in the Wall feels like a soothing mystic trip, gliding through the catchy chorus, distorted guitar thrashing and some magical synth sounds. It’s a fairly consistent track, with the tempo building quickly and dropping off at the end of the song. The layered track is like organised chaos, with the penetrating chorus tying the song together.

After establishing themselves as a band going places, Moses Gunn Collective gained national and international exposure with their EP Morning Shake’ and the singles Shalala and Maryscoring rotation on triple j and community stations around Australia and critical acclaim throughout the international blog world.
