It’s crazy, how Melbourne is indecently packed with incredible talents! Rolling Blackouts are taking the music stage over with new single Wide Eyes ahead of forthcoming October EP and selling fast tour.
The five-pieced combo of indie and soft punk surely has lots of cards hidden in the pockets. Their last single Clean Slate was ridiculously popular amongst Melbourne community as well as got warmly accepted by Triple J audience. Looks like boys are already hitting the road of success pretty seriously and there’s no chance of coming back.
Not to mention, Rolling Blackouts had just signed up to Ivy League records! What a huge step to becoming insanely popular, right? Now, when boys are in the good hands, it's obvious that there're more gems to come and more gigs to sell out.
Band’s latest single Wide Eyes is an indie-country-pop-rock mixed love song about adventures, excitements and being somewhere else, both mentally and physically. Being sort of an extension of the first track Clean Slate, Wide Eyes seems to perfectly fit into Rolling Blackouts’ world.
These two sweet tunes are a clear example of what to expect from October EP ‘Talk Tight’ and as one might say, it’s definitely going to be a killer. By the way, the EP is available for pre-order on iTunes soon!
