Electronic out-of-nowhere princess Kelela is ready to amaze us with her new EP ‘Hallucinogen’ after insanely successful ‘CUT 4 ME’, which had basically made her name in the music world.
Ahead of her the EP release, Kelela had generously shared with us her new single ‘Rewind’, which is a result of co-production of Kelela, KINGDOM and NUGGET. ‘Rewind’ is an euphoric combination of Miami-bass-freestyle-electro, cheesy melodies and sweaty basement rave on a chaotic dance floor.
Concerning the EP, ‘Hallucinogen’ is a peak-point for Kelela, as the artist says herself. After the break-through with ‘CUT 4 ME’, it’s just her second release of her hard work. Kelela made it to the electro-world by synthesising everything that had ever inspired her. Combining her various voice tones, melodies and inspirations she had ever heard and felt, Kelela is going to stay for a long time in electro world.
