New Pond Single Drops

Teaser number two for the upcoming Pond record is out! "Man It Feels Like Space Again" is set to release at the start of next year but the Sitting Up On Our Crane fun can start today.

Showcasing a completely different sound to the album’s stomping lead single - radio favourite ‘Elvis’ Flaming Star’ – ‘Sitting Up On Our Crane’ is being offered to fans as a free download via www.pondband.net for a limited time.

‘Sitting Up On Our Crane’s’ origins are slightly more grounded than its soaring sound suggests, inspired by youthful trips to unmanned construction sites where the band would climb cranes.

Come January 23, the world will get to experience POND’s new album, Man It Feels Like Space Again - their most striking statement to date. Man It Feels Like Space Again lives up to the inherent wonder in its title: a sweeping collection of warm psychedelic gems, co-written by the band’s three songwriters  Nick Allbrook, Joseph Ryan and Jay Watson.

Since announcing their new album, the band haven’t sat still - completing tours of North and South America, including successful stops at New York’s Bowery Ballroom, a tripped-out Halloween headline show at Los Angeles’ Echo Theatre, and a main stage performance at Chile’s Primavera Fauna Festival.

Now back on Australian soil, the Perth group will preview the material of Man It Feels Like Space Again at Beyond The Valley Festival and Lost Paradise over New Year’s, before playing nationalLaneway Festival dates across January and February.
