Melbourne’s favourite masters of pop, Architecture in Helsinki, have announced the release date of their fifth album, NOW + 4EVA.
Architecture In Helsinki Premieres New Track 'Dream A Little Crazy' From Upcoming Album
Inertia is thrilled to announce the upcoming release from the always bold and ever-brave Architecture in Helsinki.
The Melbourne based, five piece consisting of members Cameron Bird, Kellie Sutherland, Gus Franklin, Sam Perry and Jamie Mildren- has just announced their yet-to-be-titled 5th album to be released in early 2014 through Inertia.
“Dream A Little Crazy” is their second single from the album, following the single “In the Future”, which was the first we’ve heard from the band since their fabulous 2011 release, ‘Moment Bends’. “Dream A Little Crazy” is a song about letting go and enjoying it thoroughly, featuring a big sing-along chorus. Architecture in Helsinki debuted the single atSplendour in the Grass earlier in the year and it had the crowd singing along in harmony.
Both the single and upcoming album were mixed in Los Angeles and Montreal by Francois Tetaz and Damian Taylor. Long time collaborator Tetaz is most notably known for his efforts with Gotye’s full length album ‘Making Mirrors’ as the engineer/mixer, as well as working with Kimbra. Taylor has a successful past working with Bjork, Gotye, The Killers andArcade Fire.
