Is Retirement On The Cards For AC/DC?

Rumours have started flying again this morning regarding the possible retirement of legendary Australian rockers AC/DC.
It stems from recent tweets made by Peter Ford who claims to be 'the best informed show business commentator in Australia'. Ford took to twitter this morning to break the news about a possible AC/DC retirement, with further details discussed on his breakfast radio show 3AW.
In February AC/DC band member Johnson spoke to a radio station in Florida in regards to the reasons why the anniversary tour was on hold.
“We’ve been denying anything, ‘cause we weren’t sure. One of our boys was pretty ill, so we didn’t like to say anything, and we’re very private about things like this, so we didn’t wanna say anything. And he’s a very proud man. But I think we’ll be going into the studio in May in Vancouver. Which means, we should be getting ready."

And earlier in 2010 he quashed retirement rumours by stating:
“Of course I don’t want to retire,” he said. “But I’m telling you if the body or the voice packs in there’s nothing I can do. Pride is what it is. You don’t want to let yourself, the band or the fans down. I’ll go on as long as I can. Thankfully the old tubes have held up. They’ve got a little bluesier, that just happens with life. I’m 62 now and I know it. And I’ve got another birthday coming, which is a bit of a bugger but what better way to get old?”
Now Ford claims that the bands plans to re-enter the studio in May have changed due to some "sad detail". However, there has still been no official word from the band or their management, so all of his claims are still currently unconfirmed. Ford's tweets have been included below, have a read and see what you think!
