CHET FAKER's 'No Diggity' featured in Super Bowl ad

Chet Faker

Taken from his critically acclaimed debut EP Thinking in Textures, Chet Faker’s 'No Diggity' was featured in a Beck’s Sapphire Super Bowl advertisement. Check out the video here.

Entitled 'Serenade', the 30-second spot features a surprise admirer – a black goldfish – who is fascinated by Beck's Sapphire's one-of-a-kind black bottle. The goldfish circles the bottle, mesmerised, to the thumping rhythms of the Melbourne artists cover of Blackstreet's legendary 1996 song 'No Diggity'.

'No Diggity' was originally released on Faker’s acclaimed Thinking In Textures EP, available now via Opulent / Remote Control in Australia, and Downtown in the US. With over 1,800,000 YouTube views (1.1 million alone of 'No Diggity'), 42,000 Facebook fans and 4,100 Twitter followers, Chet Faker has also had multiple songs take the top spot on Hype Machine.

Chet Faker has been awarded Best Independent Release at the Rolling Stone Awards, as well as Breakthrough Independent Artist and Best Independent Single/EP at the Australian Independent Music Awards. 'No Diggity' was also included in a spot on the ABC series Private Practice.

Recently, Chet Faker recorded a series of live sessions in a former butter factory in Australia. The Chet Faker: Live Sessions EP will be released for free online. Recorded over a few sunny days in October at an ex-Butter Factory in the regional town of Newsread, Victoria, the EP will features recordings of ‘Archangel', ‘Love And Feeling’ and ‘No Diggity’.
