This time of year is awash with music festivals, but there’s one you shouldn’t let slide under your radar. The Caloundra Music Festival is now in its ninth year and has delivered some killer line-ups as it grows into one of the Sunshine Coast’s best music festivals. 2015 is no exception.
Lovers of Byron Bay Blues Fest can rejoice, Caloundra has all the ingredients of the swinging, bluesy rock-fest but is sooo much closer to Brisbane. Kicking off on Friday October 2 and finishing on Monday October 5, the weekend festival is very quickly approaching.
The line-up for this year is looking amazing, with the likes of Ben Lee, Angus and Julia Stone, San Cisco, Meg Mac, Thundamentals, and Melbourne Ska Orchestra on the bill, just to name a few. The festival grounds are situated right next to Caloundra’s Kings Beach, with surf and sand moments away from the main stage. As summer music festivals go, this is near perfect.
Who doesn’t want to rock out right next to the beach? No-one? That’s what we thought.
Here's a little reminder of what went down last year:
