Want To Play The Main Stage At Mountain Sounds Festival?

Mountain Sounds Festival love supporting emerging and homegrown local talent and have joined forces with unique crowd-sourced ticketing platform; GiggedIn to give aspiring acts across NSW the chance to play next years Mountain Sounds Festival on 21 February.

Sharing the stage with the likes of The Jungle Giants, The Griswolds, DZ Deathrays, The Kite String Tangle, Northeast Party House, and Tkay Maidza, this is a not to be missed, career building opportunity for musical aficionados in the making.

“We’ve always wanted to find more win-wins in the industry as well as create more support for developing artists. The GiggedIn and Mountain Sounds support slot competition will give motivated local talent a real chance at playing in front of a big new crowd whilst helping us give fans a voice to tell us who they’d love to see.” says Clayton Parker, co-founder of Mountain Sounds Festival.

One live band and one electronic act will open each main stage at the festival next year with the final 16 being shortlisted at the end of next month. Public voting will determine the top 16 as well as decide the billing order for the ‘competition finals’ qualifying event in January.

Fans will influence the opening line-up and here’s how it works:

1. Pledge to buy your ticket to support your favourite act

2. If your act wins a support slot your ticket gets bought

3. If your act doesn’t win you can choose not to be charged

All talented bands and producers across NSW are encouraged to apply for this unique and exciting opportunity.
