Are you planning your 2015 festival fun yet? Before you finalize anything, take a look at the first lineup announcement for A Festival Called PANAMA, which is returning to Tasmania on March 7th and 8th.
In March 2014 a new music festival quietly took its place on the Australian arts calendar. Set among the workings of a small-batch cider brewery in north-east Tasmania in the stunning Panama Forest, A Festival Called PANAMA was born.
For the brave and lucky few who attended, an unforgettable weekend unfolded like a strange dream. Run by a young group of music lovers, the event cares deeply for artists, for the site, and for the punters. PANAMA brings together a stunning natural landscape, inventive programming and a savvy audience ready to embrace it all.
In 2015, A Festival Called PANAMA returns for its second year. Once again tickets will be limited to 1000, with punters enjoying wood-fired hot showers, cider brewed on site, delicious local foods stalls, and world-class cabaret. All this in addition to a main stage program, whose stature belies the tiny scale of the event.
A Festival Called PANAMA is proud to announce the first lineup of acts:
BOMBINO
SHARON VAN ETTEN
HARMONY
SCOTDRAKULA
CACTUS CHANNEL
VIOLET SWELLS
BEN SALTER
