The Blackwater Fever Tour Starts Next Week
After the successful release of their third album ‘The Depths”, The Blackwater Fever are pleased to be hitting the road again to celebrate their second single “Won’t Cry Over You”.
Another Bluesfest Artist Announcement
If you didn't think it was possible for an eighth Bluesfest lineup announcement...well, you were wrong and so were we.
Heading what is probably the last artist announcement for the festival (but you never know with these guys) is Matt Corby and Tim Rodgers, who join Blues legends like Buddy Guy and Dr. John, as well as more 'modern' Blues and Roots outfits John Mayer and Jack Johnson.
“Every year is different,” Blues promoter Peter Noble told fans in a recent Q&A session. “Some years are better than others [and] last year certainly had its share of legends.”
But this year Noble says the focus has been on more 'contemporary' artists, as you can tell with the full line-up. Indeed, the first artist announcment even dared to have Jack Johnson and John Mayer as a headliners, with the usual blues legends absent from the bill (they have since joined the bill, of course).
