A Day To Remember - Australian Tour Dates
After crushing audiences with their main stage performances at Soundwave 2012, July brings the welcome return of Florida's pop-mosh lords, A DAY TO REMEMBER, armed with their brand new album,...
It’s been just over a year since The Amity Affliction last played a sold out show at the Brisbane Riverstage for their Let The Ocean Take Me Tour, and they’ve done it again with the help of A Day To Remember, but never fear a second and final Brisbane show has been added.
Tickets to the tour dubbed the ‘Big Ass Tour’ that will also feature Motionless In White and The Ghost Inside have only been on sale for just over a month but with four great acts on the bill it’s no surprise that this show has sold out quicker than Amity’s last tour so if you missed out the first round there’s a few chances for you to grab your tickets.
Telstra customers, can be the first to secure tickets to the new show with their pre-sale beginning from 10am Tuesday October 6 until 10am Thursday October 8. Live Nation, who is hosting the tour, will have an exclusive pre-sale for its members shortly after with it commencing at midday on Thursday October 8.
The Brisbane shows will be Saturday December 19 & 20, and will double up as a homecoming event for The Amity Affliction who will be shortly packing their bags and heading overseas for a string of 45 shows across the US, UK and Europe this October and November. Off the back of this year’s #1 ARIA-charting DVD Seems Like Forever and three consecutive Gold-Certified albums, two of which debuted at ARIA #1, the Big Ass Tour will cement The Amity Affliction’s standing as one of the
biggest musical acts to tour Australia.
No strangers to our shores, A Day To Remember are long-time Australian-crowd favourites renowned for their elaborate, confetti-cannon-fueled live shows and their distinctive brand of
pop-punk infused hardcore. An undeniable international success story from humble beginnings in a small town in Florida, their trajectory has accelerated steadily upwards – A DAY TO REMEMBER have performed at festival main stages around the world (including a headline slot at Soundwave Festival 2014) sold more than two million albums worldwide, with their self-released record Common Courtesy (2013) debuting at #1 on the Billboard Hard Rock Charts.
This is one of the most anticipated tours of the year so don’t sit on this, tickets will be hard to get once they sell out!
