Roots band Kingfisha have just announced their new single Water Running and a national tour. If that wasn’t enough big news, they have also newly linked a deal with The 123 Agency and are joining the already incredible line ups of Bigsound and the Australasian World Music Expo (AWME).
Their new single, Water Running, has been a crowd favourite at live shows. The track itself was mixed by reggae producer King Charlie and recorded at 301 Studios in Byron Bay by Jake Savona creating a heady mix of big bass lines, floating effects and killer melodies.
Water Running is the first new music from Kingfisha since the release of their self-titled release in 2012. Their debut LP made noise nationally across community radio, triple j rotation for track Piece of the Puzzle and three stellar tours.
Kingfisha are ready to unleash their sophomore album in the near future, until then you can catch them on tour nationally.
