Mumford & Sons On Tour In November

Mumford & Sons are bringing their ‘Wilder Mind Tour’ to our shores in November, playing massive shows in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

The London boys are celebrating their newest album ‘Wilder Mind’ which was released in May this year. The album differs from their two previous offerings, most notably with the lack of banjo, a fixture in 2009’s ‘Sigh No More’ and 2012’s ‘Babel’. But front-man Marcus Mumford has described ‘Wilder Mind’ as “a development, not a departure”.

There’s no denying that the album has been a success though, flying into the ARIA charts and topping the charts in its first week of release. So it’s no surprise they will be returning to Australia soon. We have always had a prosperous tie with Mumford & Sons, embracing the group before anyone else cottoned on.

The tour will be presented by Gentlemen Of The Road and feature an impressive group of Australian, US, and UK supports, with Jake Bugg, The Vaccines, Future Islands, The Jungle Giants, Meg Mac and The Art Of Sleeping all joining them for the Sydney show. Brisbane and Melbourne get a smaller support line-up, with The Vaccines and Meg Mac in Brisbane and Future Islands and The Vaccines in Melbourne. Still, nothing to be scoffed at.

Make sure you get your tickets when they go on sale 9am, Wednesday July 8.

Tour dates:

Saturday Nov 7 - Riverstage, Brisbane QLD

Thursday Nov 12 - Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Melbourne VIC

Special All Day Event Presented by Gentlemen Of The Road
Saturday Nov 14 - The Domain, Sydney NSW
