Yellowcard & Mayday Parade w/ Born Lions 2015 Tour!

Only 2 weeks until the pop-punk line-up of 2015 takes Australia by storm! If you’re not a fan that has been eagerly awaiting in tongue wagging angst for Yellowcard’s next Australian tour, then I bring you exciting news, and the tardis to take you on a 90’s trip down Ocean Avenue, where they left us Way Away, in a lonely exposed-brick Empty Apartment (ah-thank you).

 Since delivering us some of this generations most resounding pop punk rock tunes early 2000’s, including ‘Ocean Avenue’, ‘Lights and sounds’ and ‘Light up the sky’ along with fellow pop punk bands of the era like Anberlin, Motion City Soundtrack and SUM 41, the Jacksonville, Floridian boys have been busy. With 6 albums under heir black studded belts, they’ve returned from a 2 year hiatus, to bring us ‘Lift A Sail’, the seventh energetic, more rock focused studio album, showcasing the lead single ‘One Bedroom’, inspired about the tiny apartment front man Ryan Key shared with his wife Alyona after the pair married in an intensive care unit in 2003 after she broke her back in a horrendous snowboarding accident.

In 2013 Yellowcard toured down under in celebration of tenth anniversary of their acclaimed album Ocean Avenue. The acoustic being met with rave reviews for a band that so many people grew up listening to...

So this time around, it only makes sense that the violin infused punk-rock quartet are pairing up with fellow Floridian buddies Mayday Parade, who’s iconic catchy punk rock music will be accompanied by their fourth studio album Monsters in the Closet (out now). The album debuted at #10 on the Billboard 200 and #2 on the Independent Label Chart, with single ‘Ghosts’ emitting the perfect balance of melodic rock and catchy pop sensibilities that Mayday Parade are known and loved for.

Injecting some local flavor into the mix, the tour will be supported by bright-eyed Sydney rock legends Born Lion, who have been slaying the field lately, being quickly picked up by triple J for track ‘D is for Danger’ and named 2014’s ‘Next Crop Artist’ and also scored plays on BBC Radio 1 in the UK.

This matchup punk-rock tour is sure to be a nostalgic experience for fans keen to revisit some of the most defining musical moments of their youth! Tickets are still on sale, so what are you waiting for !
