Grimy Sydney synth-poppers NANTES have announced an East Coast tour supporting single “7” from upcoming mini-album LIMBO. The duo, David Rogers and Jos Eastwood, have been very cute in confirming SEVEN dates in late-April / May.
NANTES came to prominence in 2011 with the brilliant single, “Fly”, followed up in 2013 by the duo’s debut LP BeingsBeing, a showcase of brooding, insistent pop that feels like the aural aftershock of an emotional earthquake.
LIMBO was released through the band’s own Deadhand Music label, and received input from well-known Australian producer Simon Todkill (The Griswolds), Tony Doogan (Mogwai, Belle & Sebastian), and Frank Arkwright, with the building blocks finally coming together at Abbey Road in London.
