Philadelphia Grand Jury Have The Good News

Fans of country Jay-Z covers rejoiced last year when Philadelphia Grand Jury called off their break up and now the band have gone and announced that they're working on a brand new bunch ‘o’ songs.

The Philly Jays called it quits back in 2011 with just their debut album Hope Is For Hopers to their name but now the trio is back and ready to record an album that they have dubbed Ulterior Motif.

However, the band needs your help to raise funds to records and instead of hitting up poor punters via crowd sourcing the boys are scraping together the money with a good old fashion tour.

Besides a ‘one off’ gig at last year’s BIGSOUND and a handful of shows under the Feelings moniker this will be Philadelphia Grand Jury’s first shows in 3 years. Now if that’s not worth a couple bucks then I don’t know what is.

Simon Berkfinger, Dan W Sweat and MC Bad Genius will waste no time after the tour, flying over to Berkfinger’s Golden Retriever studios in Berlin to begin work on the album.
