The Bronx Turn It Up This June
They have the ability to kill it, to slay it, to turn it up like absolutely no other rock’n’roll band on the face of the planet, and if you play your cards right you may just get to witness the return of the fearless, The Bronx.
All the way from Los Angeles, California, The Bronx have taken brutal party music to a new level and honed it over four albums into something utterly irresistible and will be brandishing their show to Australian audiences this June.
They bring to Australia not only their killer rock’n’roll but also, something not many bands can boast, their mariachi alter-egos – Mariachi El Bronx.
We’ve seen them take on many an Australian festival, but this time around The Bronx will be inciting riots in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, and crossing the Bass Strait for a very special Hobart headlining performance, as part of MONA's expertly curated and highly anticipated DARK MOFO Festival program.
Adding some local flair to the mix along the way will be Melbourne band High Tension who have brought their brutal mood cave inducing shows fresh from SxSW.
The Bronx are famous for leaving a trail of exhausted, boozy, sweaty and supremely satisfied bodies in their wake, so check them out when they hit our shores this winter.
