Brisbane's Rock N Roll Four Piece Little Odessa Announce August Shows

Little Odessa

Brisbane's rapidly emerging rock'n'roll four-piece LITTLE ODESSA have been on nothing but an upward spiral since they joined forces in 2012 to play covers for a burlesque night. Not necessarily the most conventional of formations but the lads have quickly developed a bullet-proof reputation around Brisbane as one of the most electric new outfits to emerge in sometime. Now they're proud to announce their live plans for the remainder of August that includes shows with Hungry Kids of Hungary, Glass Towers and Pluto Jonze.

With a tidy fusion of the "60s meets The Hives" and a love of Elvis Costello, Little Odessa have been stacking up accolades quickly. Even the most recent achievements of late include winning a music video thannks to NIDA and triple j Unearthed as well as The City Sounds' (Brisbane) competition, outshining 133 bands to win a slab of studio time with Magoo.

Their first ever single - 'My Girl' - has been spun by triple j's Richard Kingsmill on 2013 and Dom Alessio on Home and Hosed as well as creating a laugh with Tom and Alex thanks to some hilarious song IDs from frontman Marlon Hickey. Thanks to the NIDA competition, the song will also spawn an ambitious music video to be released very soon.

For now though, Little Odessa will be firing up stages at the below dates over what's left of August.
