Grinspoon Announce Guest Supports on their Black Rabbits Tour!

Grinspoon and booking agency New World Artists, have announced special guests The Snowdroppers will be joining the 2013 Black Rabbits Tour as main support in Jindabyne, Melbourne and Sydney.

Dave Larkin Darwin Theory is confirmed to open proceedings at The Corner and the Enmore Theatre shows only. 

The Hated will open in Jindabyne and The Love Junkies will open all South West WA July shows and Perth.  Last but not least, the mighty Emperors have scored the main support slot at Perth’s Astor Theatre.   

In January Grinspoon played a series of incredible, career defining performances on the Big Day Out and after many recent sold out headline gigs, the band are showing no signs of wear and tear and are at the top of their game as true, Australian, indie rock champions!

Playing all the hits, back catalogue career gems plus recent singles Passerby and Branded these shows will be the longest sets the band have ever played, with a mix of everyone’s favourites and a healthy selection of new tunes from the Black Rabbits album. 

The Snowdroppers

The origins of The Snowdroppers are steeped in the seedy burlesque underworld of Sydney. Early single Do The Stomp made impact on alternative radio as well as the soundtrack to the hit movie, RED DOG. The billowing blues harp and rockabilly slap of the Too Late To Pray album upped the band's profile as hard players from the Annandale Hotel and the Big Day Out to a whistle-stop US tour from Austin to LA to New York.   Between black humour and fiery passions,Moving Out Of Eden is among the most distinctive and cohesive rock records you'll hear this year, but The Snowdroppers are under no illusion about the task at hand especially playing middle spot to the mighty Grinners – so be sure to catch them at The Station, The Corner or the Enmore Theatre .

The enigmatic singer guitarist from Dallas Crane is putting “something special together” for The Corner and Enmore Theatre shows and fans should definitely get there early!
