Nantes Announce National Album Tour & Single 'Avid'
With their highly anticipated debut album BeingsBeing completed and confirmed to be released on March 15, Nantes have delivered their latest single offering ‘Avid’. Paired with an ominous visual treatment, the new track coincides with the announcement of a national album release tour throughout March and April alongside fellow Sydney outfit Battleships.
BeingsBeing showcases twelve songs that trace the evolution of Nantes’ distinctive alternative rock sound. New single ‘Avid’ abounds with hypnotic synths lines, driving bass and the captivating vocals of front man Dave Rogers – yet another taste of Nantes’ impressive forthcoming debut album. The accompanying video clip (crafted by core member and director Jos Eastwood) is the first to feature the full live line-up and sets a striking tone for the full-length release.
On the live front, Nantes have a proven dedication to the country’s touring circuit, having delivered their mesmeric live stage show to festival audiences at Parklife, Peats Ridge, Pyramid and Big Day Out, and to crowds supporting Does It Offend You Yeah?, Manchester Orchestra and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. Rogers and Eastwood have enlisted the assistance of touring band members Mathew Gardner (Drums), Benjamin Morgan (guitar, synth, backing vocals) and Timothy Adamson (Synth, backing vocals) to showcase brand new cuts from the finished album at upcoming release shows with Battleships in March and April.
Beingsbeing is released March 15 on Deadhand Music through MGM and will be available on iTunes and limited edition CD and vinyl.
