Day Ravies new video and east coast tour February / March
To celebrate the release of the first single lifted from their forthcoming, debut record, Day Ravies have made a film clip and announced a maiden east coast tour.
‘Double Act’ will appear on the band's full-length LP out on Popfrenzy mid 2013. Bassist Caroline de Dear put together the clip using video feedback from footage shot by friend Sam Chiplin.

The clip features the band performing at
'Ultimo's Parties', an unauthorized birthday-party-cum-festival in a junk-strewn Sydney backyard. Set up atop a precarious pile of bricks, they braved the scorching summer heat, disapproving onlookers and intrusions from the police just long enough to finish their set. Their reward: endless cheap tinnies, 'crispy' sausages and Mikey's famous roast veggies!
