Mitzi to Join Foals at Sydney Club Shows

Foal’s two sold out club shows at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory have just ramped up a notch with Brisbane electro outfit Mitzi joining the bill.

Mitzi started 2013 with a bang, unveiling a new single in the blissful, synth-driven Modern Life. Following on from single Who Will Love You Now, released last October, it’s the second track to rear its sunkissed head from the band’s forthcoming album ‘Truly Alive’ - out Friday, 19^th February. Having already gained NME ‘buzz artist’ status, Mitzi will be looking to give the stage a good wearing in before Foals rip it apart.

The two sold out crowds will witness Foals in action just weeks before they release third album ‘Holy Fire’. Anticipation surrounding the release continues to run high, with first single Inhaler hitting #3 in Zane Lowe’s 100 Hottest Records of 2012 on Radio 1, and second single My Number sitting comfortably in high rotation on triple j over the Summer break.

Foals’ ‘Holy Fire’ will be out via WMA on Friday, 8^th February, 2013
