A Festival Called PANAMA Announces First Artists
A Festival Called PANAMA has announced its first round of artists making their way to the Lone Star ranges in March 2016.
Right before kicking off tour down the East Coast and few shows with Paul Kelly, Lucinda Williams and Kasey Chambers for A Day On The Green, Marlon Williams releases video for ‘Hello Miss Lonesome’ and this is something interesting.
“I have never felt so sore as the day after the shoot,” says Williams, and no wonder why. In the video on his upbeat track, he gets to be thrown around, dragged, pulled and just treated badly. However, even though it sounds badly, but the image perfectly suits the song, action and the fast-paced track did work well together.
Leaving really not much for your imagination, the video shows how different characters strip Marlon down, eventually leaving him all alone in an empty space. It’s hard not to feel sorry for William’s character in the video, but with the perfect combination of music and picture, it gets clear that anything and everything should be done for the sake of art.
You thought 2015 has been a huge year for Marlon Williams? Well, 2016 already looks exciting, with a new album ‘Dead Oceans’ due February 19 and North American tour with sales starting this Friday. We shall see much more of him soon, that’s for sure.
