It’s been almost a year since we’ve seen Vallee out and about, but here they are again, striking with up-beat and optimistically infused single ‘Jungle’!
After receiving plenty of good feedback from all around the world, Vallee is back on the track to achieving their rock dream. Following their EP ‘Radio’, ‘Jungle’ gets pretty good attention from the audience by reaching #1 on the Triple J Unearthed charts, with the video being featured on the mismatch.tv.
Nowadays we don’t get many bands that keep the clear sound of old beloved alternative-rock, covered in punk vibes and catchy, energetic beats, as, lets say, five or ten years ago. Vallee seem to go in the right direction in following their idea of modern interpretation of 90s punk-rock revivals, and ‘Jungle’ proves just that. With a huge help from their producer Beau McKee, the band got to define their sound and start understanding where this road is actually taking them, and it’s clearly visible in the ‘Jungle’.
Combining the harmonic vocals with playful guitars and really jungle-kind-of drumbeat with the lyrics revolving around love, past and present, Vallee achieve the captivating sing-along tune you simply cannot help but love.
