The Kooks New Narrative Video
Everyone’s favourite British indie pop rockers, The Kooks, have launched a new and very unusual clip for their new single Around Town. Given that it draws creative influences from Luc Besson and...
Sometimes, when you’re in a club, you’re just standing there, wishing you were home listening to your favourite guys The Kooks. The funniest thing is, now you can actually enjoy your stay in a nightclub, as from one second to another, you may hear a tune from The Kooks’ new remix album – ‘Hello, What’s Your Name?’ starting this December.
All-time favourite British quartet just never sleeps. After just dropping a new track Creatures Of Habit, and instantly handing it to UK Bass guys Jack Beats for them to make a remix, they are ready to wow us with another baby of theirs – ‘Hello, What’s Your Name?’ that’s about to please everyone. With this new album, which takes completely different turn to what they’re and we’re used to, The Kooks prove once again that they’re not here to play same accords with same lyrics from day to day.
The club oriented new album was inspired by the band’s stay in New York, where they realized how sick they sound with the remix touch on their pop-rock sound. Fans and just good music appreciators will hear amazing remixes of favourite tracks, from Isabella ‘Machine’ Summer’s Forgive And Forget to the house beat on Kove’s Are We Electric and many-many more. The line-up of the album is pretty exciting: dance pioneer DJ Pierre, The Future Sound of London’s Amorphous Androgynous and the first ever remix from Atlas Genius…You get it, the album of goodies is coming, right?
‘Hello, What’s Your Name?’ is out December 4 via Virgin EMI!
