Young Brisbane producer Feki has released his dreamy new single Quiet Minds, featuring fellow Brisbanite Emily on vocals.
Feki’s latest offering builds slowly, with a dark synth part creating brooding ambience underneath Emily’s soaring angelic vocals. The song’s groove kicks in on the minute mark with a Flight Facilities style percussive beat, giving the song a boost whilst keeping the dreamy quality of the song and Emily’s vocals.
In little more than a year Feki has featured at Sydney's OutsideIn Festival, won the Listen Out Triple J Unearthed competition and played at the Festival’s Brisbane leg, and supported trap lord RL Grime.
Feki's most recent single Remember is currently has more than 500,000 plays on SoundCloud, amongst a hefty collection of acclaimed originals and remixes.
