You know the feeling of uncontrollable desire of ‘more’, when you get to taste some ice cream, but you can’t have it all? Sure you do, because listening to ‘Some Kind Of Heaven’ as a sneak-peek to the Hurts’ album Surrender felt exactly like that. Now the waiting had ended, the guys finally released the whole album!
Surrender is Hurts’ third studio album that they recorded with Sony Music Entertainment Australia and Columbia Records. Earlier we received the first taste of the Surrender in the face of ‘Some Kind Of Heaven’, which totally immersed us into what the overall idea of Surrender is like.
The band started work on the album right before going on the sell-out tour in 2013 and continued writing during their across the globe tour in 2014. Hurts worked alongside Swedish producer Jonas Quant, as well as joining forces with Grammy Award winning giant Stuart Price (Madonna, The Killers) and Ariel Rechtshaid (Haim, Vampire Weekend) to get the best out of their new album.
Being certified Gold in UK and Australia, 2x Platinum in Germany and Finland and Platinum in Poland, Switzerland and Russia, Hurts’ Surrender is the album to listen to right now.
Album is available for download through Itunes and you may access it on Spotify.
