The Paper Kites Flash Their 'Revelator Eyes' In New Video

Just after the release of their #8 album and #1 Australian album chart debut LP ‘TWELVEFOUR’, and one month out from jumping on their national album tour, Aussie indie folksters, The Paper Kites have released their video for new single Revelator Eyes.
The new video is part two of a late night video trilogy from the band, which were planned to mimic the hours lead singer and songwriter Sam Bentley kept when writing the record. The videos all take place in different cities with stories which are set within the same 12am- 4am period. Bentley explains that, ‘They’re all laced with a late night 80’s feel to them and we wanted them all set around these fictional underground late night clubs and bars, places that we dreamed up…we’re calling them ‘laties’ videos’.
The newest edition to the trilogy, Revelator Eyes was shot by Dan Hulting (Bon Iver) in Minneapolis at a fictional venue created specifically for the clip. The video stars actress Emily Rudd and producer Harry Reynolds. “Harry funnily enough was initially just Dan's producer for the video; we had a very hard time finding the right guy until Dan said 'Harry why don't you do it?'… so Harry produced and starred in it!” enthuses Bentley.
