Gabrielle Papillon is releasing her album on September 25th and it sounds like a soft blend of sharp and smooth folk-ish sounds, topped with Gabriella’s deep, versatile vocals. As for the opening single of the album, ‘Got You Well’ is extremely comforting tune, despite the ghostly melody.
Canadian singer and songwriter had recently released the sneak-peek to her album ‘The Tempest Of Old’ and it definitely hits the very bottom of the soul.
Single ‘Got You Well’ forms an atmospheric void straight from first seconds of it. Mighty beats follow the gentle guitar, taking us right back to the good old west. Haunted by the moon, wounded by the past sings Gabrielle in her mild voice, creating entirely another space. Merging repetitive confident beats, layers and layers of volume vocals and vibrant guitar riffs, Gabriella hits us with deep philosophical lyrics that haunt you for days.
The overall folk, touching vibe of the album will definitely pull the strings of your soul starting from 25th September.
