Sydney Darlings, Little May Release Sophomore Single 'Hide'
Indie-folk sweethearts, Little May are set to release their second single, ‘Hide’ on 20th September. Their second single has been plucked from their forthcoming self-titled EP, set for release this November.
‘Hide’ follows on from the success of their debut single, ‘Boardwalks’, which landed them the position of FBi’s Unsigned Artist of The Week in August, as well as a sold out single launch on their home turf. This time around, Little May come to the party with a more intricate offering, creating a new depth and maturity to their sound.
Cloaked with darker undertones and brimming with an empowered strength, ‘Hide’ touches on an area most indie-folk artists are afraid to tread, and does so with conviction. It is a testament to Little May’s diversity and ability to embrace a relatively untouched realm of indie-pop.
Comprised of Sydney-based musicians Hannah Field, Liz Drummond and Annie Hamilton, the trio are heavily inspired by the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Mumford & Sons and Local Natives. Little May have performed at Secret Garden Festival and most recently shared stages with the likes of Triple J heart throb, Dustin Tebbutt.
