Edward Guglielmino wins Song Of The Fellowship at this year's Grant McLennan Memorial Fellowship
Last night at an award ceremony for the Grant McLennan Memorial Fellowship, Brisbane's EDWARD GUGLIELMINO took out the inaugural Song of the Fellowship award for his song 'Mary', lifted from the 2011 album Sunshine State.
The judges were so enamoured with the song, they introduced the award especially for Guglielmino's contribution to the fellowship, his second in two years. Synth-queen Seja Vogel won the night's main award.
"This year we decided on the Song of the Fellowship and the reason for that was this song called 'Mary' - if you haven't heard it - I'm doing a Molly Meldrum - do yourself a favour."
- Sally McLennan said when presenting the award.
