After some soul searching and some travelling and some university-ing and some asking friends for money to make new CD-ing, The Pretty Littles have a new song and album ready to go! (Note: It was mainly the friends giving money).
2012 was a fantastic but draining year on the Littles with 113 gigs played (To a total of about that many people). Their second EP, produced by Alex Markwell of Delta Riggs fame scored some favorable reviews and spins on jjj, jjj unearthed, RRR, PBS and snuck into the hitlist on SYN twice. All this good news was made better with a sold-out launch at Ding Dong. After one final hurrah at The Tote in April, which also sold-out, the boys took 4 months off to make a new CD and make sure that they wanted to keep doing music. They did and they do.
Never Felt Worse is the first slice off the album. It’s a heavy track with a simple sentiment and bugger all lyrics.
The Pretty Littles are launching Never Felt Worse at the Espy Front Bar on Friday August 30 with support from The Harlots, Neighbourhood Youth and Knitting For Gran.
