Bad//Dreems Launch 'Hoping For' and Debut EP 'Badlands' in Sydney

Adelaide’s Bad//Dreems have just released their new single Hoping For, from their debut EP Badlands via Mirador Records.

To herald both releases, Bad//Dreems will be launching Hoping For and Badlands on Saturday 3 August at Spectrum in Sydney with epic support from Drown Under, Mope City and Bruff Superior.

Badlands is the result of sessions with producer Woody Annison (Black Cab, Rocket Science), and includes debut single Chills which was recorded with Jack Farley (Twerps, Scott and Charlene’s Wedding, Beaches) and Johnny Mackay (Fascinator, Children Collide). The video clip for Hoping For was filmed in Port Adelaide and in the North of South Australia near Orroroo.

Bad//Dreems were the second most played act on triple j unearthed in 2012 and have shared the stage with Children Collide, Oh Mercy, Wavves (US) and Cut Off Your Hands (NZ). Their take on The Seeds’ Pushing Too Hard will be featured on the upcoming vinyl release of the Nuggets re-release.
