After the release of his critically acclaimed debut album ‘In Colour’, Jamie xx is heading down under to grace the stage of Beyond The Valley, Lost Paradise and FOMO festivals!
He has announced today a special headline sideshow in Melbourne at the iconic Forum Theatre on Sunday 10th January.
Taking influence from early 80s and 90s British rave culture and putting his own spin on it, his debut album marks the maturation of Jamie xx as a solo artist. The debut has been described by Q Magazine as ‘rich, complex and dazzlingly fluid’ and NME as ‘a euphoric solo debut’ as well as the critical success it entered the charts around the world, including a #2 ARIA Album Chart spot and #1 spot in the US Billboard Electronic chart.
Tickets for Jamie xx’s Melbourne show at the Forum goes on sale Friday 9th October.
