Ben Browning Of Cut Copy's Solo Synthy Single 'Friends Of Mine'

You may or may not know him from the band CUT COPY, but Australian Producer/songwriter Ben Browning’s solo project is heaving ahead, sharing an irresistible disco dance single with us ‘Friends of Mine’, the second track from his upcoming debut LP "Turns".

Ben’s solo project is seeing him define his personal music identity, with electronic influences, pulling melodic inspiration from the likes of Brian Wilson (The Beach Boys)  and Paul McCartney, and dance music cues from Lindstrom and Todd Terje.

‘Friends of Mine’  is 4.19 mins of energetic dream pop with glimmering synths, refreshing your mind while  simultaneously calling on your pallet to seek the most refreshing beverage topped with a novelty umbrella to kick start your summer dance party – in winter, ah its Australia what is seasons.

To celebrate the release of this single and in anticipation of the “Turns” LP, Ben’s kicking off a US Tour, but for us Aussies the full length album is out June 15th. Go on, have a listen, add some sparkle too your life!
